Day four hundred
sixty-six
February 12, 2014: School was cancelled,
church cancelled Wednesday service, and several people have already called out
for tomorrow at work. Why, you ask. For about a millimeter of snow. And why,
out of all the possible types of food that you should stock up on if you fear
the power going out and having to stay in the confines of your home, do people
go out and buy milk and bread? Honestly if these people are worried about
staying fed through the disastrous storm shouldn’t they be buying canned food? You know, food that will…keep? And if you are
going to buy milk, buy evaporated and condensed. Those have a longer shelf
life. Also, if you’re going to buy super fluffy white bread (literally the only
kind of bread you can purchase in the South, apparently) just buy glue, it also
has a longer shelf life.
