Day eighty-five
January 26, 2013: For the first
time ever, in my life, I got to be the one to unlock the door after the family
came home from doing something. I know I'm nineteen, and that's pretty old
never to have done that before, but it's just something I never really did
before. (Plus I didn't have my own set of keys back in Bend.) So yeah, despite
being a rite of passage it's kind of lame it's happening now. There just never
really was I time when I came home to an empty house, so there was no need.
It's funny, when I first said I could open the door my Colleen thought it was
because I was going to pick the lock.
