Okay, so I graduated this Friday. Yep. I am officially out of high school. Not that school is going to get any easier. Waiting for me in the fall is local college, (for at least a year, to get the general courses done, which is cheaper at the local college and should help ease me into the more demanding college life,) and a part time job.
For the summer, there is actually a trip to Latvia. It will be a six week mission trip to a Christian based camp and I will be one of the councilors. I went on youth mission trip last year to Latvia to the same camp. None of us were official councilors or anything, since we were there for only a week out of a four week camp, (new kids come each week.) We worked there more as "helpers" to the people working at the camp. This year though, I will be working as one of the councilors. Not to mention the only one from my church. Three other people will be going with me though from another church from a near by town. It was all very last minute. I think I decided, oh when was it, May, that I would go. Yes, Quite rushed.
Last but not least, there is something that makes this post extremely amazingly different and exciting. Something that is so unexplainable, I will have to use a lot of adjectives and adverbs just to get it across how exciting and epic this post is. I will also have to say the announcement with capital letters so that you can feel the pure awesomeness that is this post. I AM WRITING IT FROM MY NEW LAPTOP!!!!!!!
I'm just a little, teeny bit exciting, in case you couldn't tell. So far, I am completely satisfied with it. The only thing that makes me sad is the fact that it makes absolutely no noise while I type. I am a sucker for the whole ambiance of writing, and man, I don't know about you, but nothing is more satisfying than the clacking of keys as you type. It isn't even taking me as long as I though it would to get accustomed to the smaller key board. I type nearly as quickly as I do on a full keyboard. I miss the noise though.
